Protein Supplements For General Health

Protein supplements are often used by body builders, weight lifters and athletes in highly physical sports. However, protein supplements have many benefits and are actually good for general health. Additionally, proteins are found in the common daily diet.

Since our bodies are 15% protein, it is easy to say that proteins are important for our general health. Protein supplements provide more than energy. They contain important nutrients like essential amino acids and non essential amino acids as building blocks for our body’s tissue.
