The NFL coach has to be a master of many trades. He is a master strategist, confidant, friend, boss, motivator, policeman, moderator, diplomat, and ultimate football fan. NFL coaches get little rest, often working more than 100 hours each week. If the players are the body of the football team, the coach is certainly the head. A good coach can get players to play to their full potential and make them think they did it on their own. It is worthwhile to examine some NFL coaches names that have stood out in football history.
