While it’s true that canola oil is high in monounsaturates, is it anything but “healthy”?
The biggest problems with highly processed and refined vegetable oils such as corn , soybean, and rape seed is that the polyunsaturated component of the oil is highly unstable under heat, light, and pressure, and this process heavily oxidizes the polyunsaturates ,in turn increasing free radicals in your body.
The extraction process uses high heat, pressure, and petroleum solvents such as hexane. Most also undergo caustic refining, degumming, bleaching, and deodorization, all using high heat and questionable chemicals.
Stable alternatives for healthy living are recommended below
Extra virgin olive oil – for lower temperature cooking or a healthy salad dressing oil
Virgin coconut oil – great for all temperatures of cooking due to its high heat stability and healthy saturated fats in the form of medium chain triglycerides, such as Lauric Acid, which helps support the immune system and an essential, lacking in most western diets.
Organic grass-fed butter such as Kerrygold Irish butter – use a mix of grass-fed butter, coconut oil, and a small bit of olive oil for most cooking.
This butter is a great source of a healthy fat called CLA, which has been shown in studies to have muscle building and fat burning properties and a much healthier omega-6 to omega-3 ratio than everyday butters .
Use some of these healthier options and your body will thank you!

When the phrase ‘success coach Sydney’ was given to me, I was puzzled. I was thinking about what would be the role of a success coach, especially in the area of sporting. Would they teach me how to be successful in anything, including the things that the coach is unfamiliar with? If so, how could this be possible? I started asking questions, and I think I got the answer.
One of the answers lies in the power of the mind. The mind is very important when it comes to achieving goals. This is because, as a lot of people say, success is more likely to be actualised when there is an end in mind. Apparently, it really helps to visualise what you want to obtain. The mental images give you a more clear idea of where you want to be, and what actions you should take to get there. Without successfully imagining what you want, you are less probably going to make it a reality. For instance, if an athlete imagines coming first, they are more likely to become first. They win first in their mind, and then in reality.
A success coach based in Sydney can really help athletes and sportspeople based in this city. This is because such a coach is an expert of the mind. By working on your mind, you can become more capable to achieving what you want to achieve. A common exercise is to sit down and write down goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. Then, you should be reading your goals on a regular basis, and imagining yourself meeting these goals. In fact, it really helps to imagine how you would feel when you meet these goals. A major reason for this is that humans are emotional beings. A lot of their actions are driven by emotions. If you are able to manage your emotions, you become more effective. For instance, if you are feeling fearful, this can stop you from taking the required action to obtain the success you desire. If you are able to dissolve your feelings of being fearful, you would be more capable of taking action. A success coach in Sydney can help you do this.

The world is fascinated with weight loss, some for health reasons and others for cosmetic. No matter the reason, many people try harsh diets that never work, extreme exercise regimens that result in injuries or other weight loss program that end without success. The reason that none of these weight loss methods seem to work is because in order to stay with a program, you have to enjoy it. Not only that, but it has to be safe as well.
Below are 5 genuine tips to weight loss, which almost anyone can do without tossing out their favorite food or spending every spare minute in the gym. Realistically, any weight loss program will take time. If anyone promises you different, they are either not being completely honest or are simply uninformed. Follow one single weight loss program for 30 days, whatever it may be, and see if you have results. If not, move on to something else. In the meantime, check out several tips to getting started today.
Tip # 1
Walking. If you can set aside 30 minutes every day to enjoy a leisurely stroll, you will be strengthening your legs and your heart while burning some calories in the process.
Tip # 2
Use a mini cycle. These portable little exercise units offer the look of bicycle pedals set up on a metal bar, but without the high price or weight of a standard exercise bike. With a min cycle, you can pedal at your desk, on the couch or anywhere else that you can comfortably set and reach the pedals.
Tip # 3
Walk or take the stairs instead of an elevator. This is a terrific weight loss exercise without even noticing the extra effort. Something as simple as a few extra steps every day can go a long way where weight loss is concerned. The next time you go to the store, park in the middle of the parking lot and walk to the store. Avoid parking in the closest spot to the door, which is tempting, but opt to walk instead.

Some people love extreme sports so much but they make sure they go outdoor with Travel First Aid Kit.
An extreme outdoor sportsman knows what the things he needs to ensure he could go home in one piece. Even if you see them doing unusual stunts on air, they are also concerned of their safety. And while most people think they are the people who just don’t what will happen to them, they do stunts safely to take care of their career.
For outdoor sports, it is inevitable to see stuntmen getting injured when they hit the bottom after a few seconds of floating on air but some of them are already expecting it. What they are concerned of is to crash the bottom soft and not painful.
Above all, they have first aid kits, aside from the ambulance waiting, to ensure they can receive immediate treatment should things go really bad for them to handle.
Although, there are several kinds of first aid kits available in the market today, Travel First Aid Kit is the most advisable for them to bring outdoor.
If you are one of them, make it a habit to bring one for yourself before you take off.

Alcoholism can affect a person from every possible walk of life. Athletes are no exception. So that’s why there are countless stories of sporting figures who turn to alcohol. Maybe they do it to handle the pain and mental struggle that professional athletes need to deal with every day of their career. Or maybe they use it when they are caught up in the celebration of their career. Or maybe they start drinking when they reach the inevitable decline in their competitiveness.
Whatever the reason, drinking and easily turn into binge drinking which can then turn onto true alcoholism. One example of this is the boxer Kelly Pavlik who became an alcoholic in his career. Now Kelly was an example of somebody who actually realized he had a problem and came back from the brink. He not only kicked his alcoholism but was able to come back as a fighter and win some serious fights.
Not all athletes end up with the positive outcome that Kelly had. Sometimes they lack the tools to deal with drinking. Often times they can improve their situation by taking alcohol awareness classes where they can learn about their problems and see that there are solutions. They can find resources to turn to when it seems like the only alternative in their life is the bottle.

The first thing you should look for when out looking for cleats is the cut of the shoe. There are different cuts that are ideal for different positions. High top cleats are built to support higher up on the ankle limiting the joints movement. These types of cleats are usually worn by linemen, because they are not normally concerned with quick lateral movements for speed. Then there’s the low cut cleats, these types are cut lower with a lot less support but allow the ankle to move freely for quicker cuts and movements. This type of cleat is usually made to be lighter perfect for speed positions like wide-receivers and cornerbacks. Lastly there is mid-cut cleats, this a compromise between the high-top and the low cut cleats. They give more support than the low cut while offering less restriction than the high-top. Quarterbacks, running backs and linebackers usually find these types of cleats appealing. If you are a parent and don’t know which type of football cleat to get your child, the mid-cut would be the best option. Protect your investment in cleats by buying a pair of cleat protectors that will slip over the bottom of the cleats and prevent wear and tear on the cleats as well as your floors and car interior.

From the beginning golfer to the experienced low handicapper, EVERYONE should incorporate mental training into their game of golf.
Prime examples are, of course, Tiger Woods who grew up with golf psychology being a part of his golfing education and will always be legendary for his mental toughness.
Another example is Rory McIlroy, who can forget the images of him crumbling in the last few holes of the Augusta Masters when he had been in the lead for 63 holes!
The moral of this little story is that it’s NEVER too early to learn how to incorporate golf psychology in your game and conversely, it’s never too late, even the old die hard ‘ golf mind training is all mumbo jumbo‘ should see the light and realise that if they would only take the time to listen to a few golf hypnosis downloads, it would help them to acquire the mental edge over their opponents.
Golf Hypnosis Downloads are hugely popular, expecially when they are FREE, I listen to them all the time and it’s surprising how often a little snippet of calming information will pop into your mind just when you are on the course and the moments are getting stressful.
Give golf mental hypnosis training a try, you have nothing to lose, apart from your high scores!
