Let Your House Make Money as a Film Location
Every director will tell you, the right film location can make or break a project. Besides the leading actors and the quality of the script, it’s the setting that ultimately creates the world we escape to when we’re sitting in the movie theater. Think about it. Remember the tree-lined sidewalk and the classic contemporary home used in the horror masterpiece, Halloween? How about the climax of Scarface, when Al Pacino takes on the Feds from his balcony? Or, how can you forget the retro-style of one of television’s most famous homes used in The Brady Bunch? It’s California film locations like these that add believability and authenticity to the fantastic worlds we love to watch.
Believe it or not, Hollywood doesn’t build a set for every movie or television program that comes along. In fact, many of the California film locations used in your favorite TV shows and movies are real-life homes and businesses. People actually own these properties. And by renting them out for Hollywood film projects, they can generate an impressive income.
Los Angeles Film Locations are in High Demand
These days, with the price of construction materials and other building considerations, it’s much more cost-effective for studios to simply rent out a home or building rather than create an entire set. This is especially the case with independent films. As a homeowner, you can use this to your advantage and allow your home to be used as a movie backdrop. Scouts are constantly on the lookout for unique California film locations, and if yours is chosen, you could receive a handsome income for the right to use your property.
How to Have Your Home Considered as a Los Angeles Film Location
If you want to maximize the income potential of your property by making it available to Hollywood, you need to get the home in front of the scouts who are searching for California film locations. The easiest way to do this is to submit your property to a location agency that specializes in providing a searchable directory of properties for Hollywood location scouts.
5 Star Film Locations, Inc. can help your property become a star! When you submit your property to 5 Star, it is categorized properly so scouts don’t have to look far to find exactly what they’re looking for. In addition, your property will be well-represented through a series of full-color professional photographs, giving California film location scouts an immediate visual impression of your home or business. Whether your home is a bungalow, an English Tudor or a Victorian, it can become a star when it is made available as a California film location. Visit Film Locations Los Angeles today to submit your California film location or call 323-654-3900 and speak to one of our experienced agents.

Hollywood is known for creating incredibly life-like creatures through its use of computer-generated images, amazing reproductions of eras long since past and other special effects that leave the viewer spellbound. But sometimes, Hollywood has to rely on actual terra-firma to set the tone and backdrop for their features. This is when California film locations are needed.
Today, it’s easier than ever for fans of certain films to find the California film locations used in their favorite movies. And when you discover where these film locations are actually located, you may be surprised. For instance, did you know that the houses used in such horror classics as A Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween are only two streets away from each other?
There are thousands of California film locations in and around the Los Angeles area. The Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills has been used in many different films and television programs, from National Treasure: Book of Secrets to Gilmore Girls. The Biltmore Hotel is another famous Los Angeles film location. It’s been used in such films as Ghostbusters, A Star is Born, Pretty in Pink and many others. And then there’s other, less-glamorous California film locations like the convenience store used in the comedy, Superbad or Shia LeBeouf’s home in the thriller, Disturbia. All real buildings, homes and businesses, and all real California film locations!
If you’re a fan of Hollywood movies and you want to see for yourself where some of your favorite scenes were filmed, visit FiveStarFilmLocations.com. We have thousands of Los Angeles film locations listed in our comprehensive database. Or, become a part of the movies yourself by submitting a property you own for consideration as a California film location. Not only will your home or business be featured in a potential blockbuster, but you’ll be paid by the studios for the right to use your property! For more information on listing your home as a California film location, visit California film locations.

Turn Your Home Into a California Film Location
Does your home have what it takes to star in a major motion picture? If you believe that it does, then why not submit your property for consideration as a California film location?
Registering your home as a Los Angeles film location can provide you with a number of exciting benefits, including:
• Being paid by the studios for the use of your property (sometimes thousands of dollars per day!)
• Once featured in a film, your property value will increase
• Your property will be forever known as the one seen in “insert blockbuster title here.”
Many of our favorite films feature memorable, real-life California film locations. For instance, the home of Christopher Lloyd’s character, “Doc” Brown, in the film, Back to the Future, is someone’s actual house in Pasadena, CA. Also in Pasadena are the houses used in Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Zathura, among many others.
The owners of these properties were paid handsome sums of money for allowing Hollywood production crews to film in and around their homes. And the great thing is, once you register your property as a California film location, it can be used over and over again. Feature films, television programs and commercials all require real-life backdrops and Los Angeles film locations, so why can’t it be your property?
Registering your property, home or business as a California film location is simple. Just visit California film location and click on the “Submit a Property” tab. Then, simply fill in the criteria. A professional photographer will take numerous photos of your property so film location scouts will have a great idea of what type of filming opportunities are capable at your location. Once chosen, your property will then join the ranks of some of Hollywood’s most beloved California film locations.

Job Profile: California Location Scouts
In the Hollywood film industry, California location scouts are integral to the successful production of any project, from a 30-second commercial to a feature film. While the opening credits may run the names of the film’s stars, producers and directors, it’s the scout who is ultimately responsible for delivering the backdrops and settings for the believability of the project. If the project’s setting doesn’t compliment the acting taking place on screen, the fans, or targeted customers, will know it.
So, what are the job duties of California location scouts? How do they go about finding locations? Are there different job titles in a studio’s scouting department? In this article, we look at what it takes to be a California location scout.
The Job Duties of California Location Scouts
The primary job duty for a film location scout is to find the ideal settings for the film project. This is initiated in the pre-production of a project between the director, producer and the scout. Once the scout has a good idea of the director’s vision for the film, according to the script, the scout will do their best to find properties or businesses that meet the attributes the script calls for. But in truth, a California location scout’s job is not always so cut-and-dry.
A studio’s location department has a full detail of duties that need to be managed properly for the project’s shooting schedule to remain on target. And these important tasks can keep the department busy from pre-production all the way through the wrap.
California Location Scouts, Managers and More
Every studio location department has a number of professionals employed under its umbrella and each is responsible for a certain aspect of the location finding process.
Location Managers oversee the entire location department and report directly to the Production Manager. This individual has the responsibility of guaranteeing permission to use the location that’s desired for filming. They’re also responsible for budget management related to the film’s locations.
The California location scout does most of the research necessary for finding the properties the production team needs. This often requires traveling to locations, taking photos and searching for available properties online.
Location assistants work with the scouts and managers to handle the general responsibilities, such as maintaining location cleanliness, handling neighbor concerns and much more.
The Ideal Resource for California Location Scouts
The best California location scouts have an assortment of resources at their disposal, from personally-compiled locations to expansive online databases of registered film locations. FiveStarFilmLocations.com has thousands of such properties available for consideration by California location scouts. Each location is complete with property details and full-color photos to make the selection process as simple and time-friendly as possible. Visit California Location Scouts today and try a customizable search for the ideal film location.

The Bowflex Bench is perhaps the one piece of Bowflex Exercise Equipment that would render most other pieces of the Bowflex home gym useless if it were missing. It’s all thanks to this supportive and well constructed bench that has seen me go from a near wimp to a very impressive and well toned body that I just can’t wait to flaunt on the beach in the summer of 2009. I’ve had home gyms before, this is my third, and I have to say that there had been no other piece of apparatus that has given me the enthusing, great tutorials, and fantastic results, as that of Bowflex. Thank you Mr. Bowflex, you have another happy and loyal camper to your equipment.

People’s demand for theatre in London needs no further justification. And, with the report that the universal blockbuster Dirty Dancing the musical show is going to open in the City in a couple of months then this love is not going to weaken any time in the near future!
The film Dirty Dancing casting Jennifer Grey & Patrick Swayze is a movie devoted to dance & its music songs created such an enjoyment that they still are lots of people’s favourite film songs ever. Almost immediately after the film’s global opening in 1987, it went on to get an illustrious status globally and its theatre depiction is creating as much an impression in theatres all around the world. It has been commented that all the electrifying music hits from the movie’s CD, for example Do You Love Me, She’s like the Wind & Time of My Life, are included in the stage show along with many spanking new tunes. With over thirty nine million albums purchased thus far, the theatre show is forecasted to get thunderous applauses at the beginning of every single hit song that the singer sings. Even though the story of the Hollywood film has been reworked for the theatre stage, precise key moments & stunning acts from the motion picture script are kept within the theatre production.
A Romantic show, Dirty Dancing is the tale of Baby and the love she shared with her dance tutor Johnny. The end of this famous love story reveals the power of love to overpower all stumbling blocks. As the film is completely devoted to dance, the moves in the movie are understandingly sensual & the same has been included in the theatre show production of the story. Get your hands on cheap, discount Dirty Dancing and Oliver tickets.
In Australia the theatre show has already achieved outstanding success. Each and every show was time after time fully sold out for the complete 14 month period. In London as well, if the bookings are anything to go by, then the musical show should be a huge success and long queues are forecasted at the doors of the Aldwych theatre in London.
Dirty Dancing theatre tickets are presently on sale for weekend shows at the Aldwych Theatre. Advanced showings start from twenty-ninth September with Dirty Dancing the Musical having its premiere opening on the twenty-fourth October.

The number one wish shared by many new and experienced golfers is this: How to cure a golf slice for better golf, lower scores, longer drives, and more satisfaction from the game of golf. From the golf swing to club selection to driving to putting, golf is fraught with many aspects that can frazzle the nerves of even the most calm and settled and accomplished of people, personalities, and temperaments. But so many golfers suffer from the so-called banana ball syndrome of slicing the ball that if they could fix that one part of their game, so many others factors would fall into place. A lot of it comes down to the grip and the golf swing, the position of the hands and wrists and elbows and hips in both the upswing and the downswing of the golf club as it approaches the golf ball. My latest article introduces some bare bone basics of how to cure a golf slice once and for all. The real first step in how you go about the task to cure a golf slice begins with you, the golfer. You first and foremost have to believe, really truly believe that you can cure your golf slice. You must have an ardent desire to bag that slice forever and the strength and discipline of mind to believe you can cure that slice. Go check out this new article and learn today how you can quickly and easily get on the road to cure a golf slice now.

Whether it is trying out a new brand of golf balls, to buying a new type of golf shoes…
For instance, the recent addition of Ecco golf shoes to my equipment bag has made more of a difference than I ever could have expected.
I’d never worn Ecco golf shoes before purchasing my first pair a couple months ago.
I was already familiar with the brand name because of its sponsorship in other sports, but didn’t know they were connected with golfing at all…

Life coaching and success coaching
Coaching is a modern and quickly evolving method for facilitating others to improve, produce, learn different skills, find success success, reach aims and handle life change and individual challenges. Life coaching, or success coaching – different terms are used – is working for all situations, whether in success life, career, sales or corporate and business life. Life coaching, success coaching and like-minded coaching of these kinds are unique to traditional training.
Coaching draws out instead of putting in. It develops rather than imposes. It reflects rather than points. Effective coaching is a form of change facilitation – it enables people, rather than trains them. Coaching is responsive and adaptable – it allows for success transition on an successized basis.
Coaching forms no premisses – it’s non judgemental, nor is it prescriptive or instructional. Empathy is essential to the coaching process. Serious success coaching tries to help the other person’s apprehension of himself or herself. The individual notions and preferences and needs of the coach are immaterial – good coaching is about aiding other people to comprehend themselves, where they wish to be, and helping them to get there.

Anytime you grab a golf club it is your hands that are the only portion of your body that touches the club. Over the years the hands, or grip, have many times been referred to as the steering wheel of the golf swing. This comparison couldn’t be more appropriate. By gripping the golf club properly you are opening the door to a much fuller experience when playing this game.
Holding the golf club at first glance doesn’t seem that difficult a thing to do. However, there is a lot of trial and error involved to determine the best grip for you. This is one of the most fascinating aspects to the game of golf. How they grip the golf club is a VERY UNIQUE thing for anyone that plays golf. No two grips are alike. The only way to determine the perfect golf grip for you is to experiment with a variety of grips while hitting more golf balls. Go to best golf grip for photos and more detailed instructions to improve your golf grip.

Coaching sports can be both challenging and rewarding.
It’s challenging because you have deal with different personalities and temperaments. You have to know what to say and when to say it… For example;
Some athletes have to be cuddled, while others have to be disciplined. Psychology plays a major role if you want to have a successful coaching career.
Another major challenge when it comes to coaching sports is trying to get the athletes to listen to your message. You always here about coaches failing because after a certain point the player’s on the team start to “tune them out”.
On the other hand coaching sports can be rewarding when you start to develop relationships with the player’s and can have an impact on a young person’s life.
But, when it’s all said and done, the coach’s who are most successful are the ones who as they say “have a passion for the game”
Here is a great article about a young girl who wanted to make a career out of coaching sports…

An article about: Aerobic Videos
Well, while aerobic videos are certainly not brain surgery, they can be a tad difficult for the body to adapt to. Depending on what kind of shape you’re in to start with. I always laughed at my wife’s aerobic videos. I mean come on, she keeps the retro ones. You know, the kind with Richard Simmons sweating to the oldies. She swears by their results, but I still find them amusing. However, this is what’s important when it comes to aerobic videos. It’s all about the results, people. If you’re dropping the pounds and getting into shape; that’s all that matters.

How To Choose The Right Sports Gloves
The choice of gloves largely depends on the choice of sports of its user. You should invest in a good pair of gloves if you plan to practice any of the following sport: Boxing, kickboxing, cardio boxing, muay thai, MMA (mixed martial arts), ultimate fighting, karate, taekwondo, jiu jitsu, judo and krav maga. You should let your gloves dry out after each use. It is now common practice to use a glove deodorant that kills odor-causing fungus and bacteria.
