Missouri football

January 30th, 2008

One of the best Missouri tourist attractions is football. There are two professional teams in the state, the Rams and the Chiefs which says a lot for a state with as small a population as Missouri has. The teams are on opposite sides of the state which is a good thing as the fans are as rabid as any anywhere. You had best not mention the Rams while in a sports bar in Kansas City, no mention the Chiefs while in a sports bar in St Louis. Most of the middle of the state roots for both teams so they get along nicely but the closer you get to the cities the more one team fans there are. Both teams have excellent stadiums and excellent programs. Curt Warner gave a boost to the Rams when he was recruited from an arena team in Iowa called the Barnstormers. Iowa fans knew what Curt was made of, but St Louis fans were skeptical. Arena football is much faster paced than pro ball and that is what Warner brought to the Rams. The first year he was quarterback he led the team to the final game – you know the one, the one they won’t let you say the name of anymore.

Tridenosen H, or just Tridenosen, is a popular new product for weight lifters and bodybuilders. Muscle building gains can be seen as early as three weeks with it. Tridenosen is not an anabolic steroid and does not control hormones like anabolics either. It has the same muscle building effects though as steroids.

Tridenosen is thermogenic which means it is fat burning. It also retains nitrogen so it gives the appearance of fuller muscles due to this property. Tridenosen has a strong effect on protein synthesis. Those that use Tridenosen will notice that it works as well as a steroid, but without the side effects due to androgen.

January 24th, 2008

Aromatherapy - is the use of so-called essential oils - extracted from flowers, fruits, plants and other symptoms. Aromatherapy is found everywhere. Dentists, hospices, nursing homes and now hospitals are starting to see the value of using these essential oils in making their patients feel comfortable and relaxed before a procedure. Everyday consumers can purchase essential oils commercially, but should exercise caution about the quality of the oil. So-called fragrance oils are fake or might be a mixture of extract and a synthetic. Be sure it is 100 percent essential oil. Adventure Sports Wanted

January 23rd, 2008

I am waiting for the day when someone invents a hologram suite, like the ones in the Star Trek shows. These are computerized virtual realities, in which you can ski down a mountainside at breakneck speed and come to no harm. That’s because the mountain isn’t really there. Nothing is real but it feels just like reality. In other words, it’s all the thrills without the spills. I could do any adventure sports I wanted then and maybe even invent a few new ones. Until that time, I’ll watch others do their hot dog tricks and bungee jump from skyscrapers. Does driving into the city and back count as adventure sports these days?

The Length of Your Ice Hockey Stick Makes a Difference.

January 23rd, 2008

How to choose the right ice hockey stick.

I bet you didn’t know that the length of your ice hockey stick could be the reason you end up getting hurt. Picking not only the right hockey stick in regards to the material it is made from; i.e. fiberglass, wood, aluminum, etc., and the length that you cut your stick really makes a difference.

Here comes the basic problem that many skaters face. Should the hockey stick reach up to my chest or to my chin? Please note: The actual measurement should be when you are standing on skates. Experts say that you can bring the puck close to your feet and still have a lot of stick control when you have a slightly shorter stick.

Read further tips about “choosing the right ice hockey stick“.

Fuzzy Picture

January 22nd, 2008

“Why is my picture fuzzy?” For those who still subscribe to cable because of the fallacy that satellite tv will “always” lose it’s signal when it rains… here is the dilemma. The further you are from where the cable signal generates the weaker the signal will be. Often cable HD isn’t that much better than the regular satellite picture without HD.

How can this be? Really simple. Reason number one is that not all cable channels are digital. A considerable amount of cable channels are really analog still even with a “box” on your tv. Reason number two is that many cable customers don’t live right next to the cable source that generates the providers signals, therefore, before the signal ever gets to the vast majority of cable customers, it has already been deteriorated.

Now for that fallacy… no, satellite doesn’t always lose it’s signal when it rains. Granted with the first few lines of satellite television technology this issue was relevant. However, with all the technology upgrades and improvements this is rarely an issue.

As a result, subscribers save a lot of money and receive the best picture and sound possible… %100 digital every time, every channel, and every house. The signal is generated right at the Dish either attached to or installed by the customer’s house.

Please call Dish Pro Satellite Inc. for more information in Houston, Texas and find out if Dish Network is right for you.
